A:
There are two possible cases:
you have a file on disk (that can be opened and has a default name) and that name is not yet used on your machine.
there is no file of that name on disk and the file exists on the network.
Case 1. can be solved by deleting the file on disk. The file on disk should have the same name as the file on the network.
Case 2. can be solved by renaming the file. If the file exists on the network, it should have a different name than the file on disk.
Q:
Creating a new Role and Granting Permissions to it's Roles in Microsoft Access
I'm trying to create a new role in the MS Access database in which I have a table of Users with roles assigned to them. Here's what I have so far:
Private Sub UserForm_Initialize()
Dim strsql As String
strsql = "Select * From Users"
strsql = strsql & "Where Role = 'Admin'"
DoCmd.SetWarnings False
DoCmd.OpenQuery strsql
strsql = "Select * From Users"
strsql = strsql & "Where Role = 'Admin'"
DoCmd.SetWarnings True
End Sub
Private Sub btnAddRole_Click()
DoCmd.SetWarnings False
DoCmd.OpenQuery "AddRole"
End Sub
Private Sub btnAddUser_Click()
DoCmd.SetWarnings True
DoCmd.OpenQuery "AddUser"
End Sub
Private Sub Form_Current()
DoCmd.SetWarnings False
DoCmd.OpenQuery "RoleUser"
End Sub
Private Sub btnRemoveRole_Click()
DoCmd.SetWarnings False
DoCmd.OpenQuery "RemoveRole"
End Sub
Private Sub btnRemoveUser_Click()
DoCmd.SetWarnings True
DoCmd.OpenQuery "RemoveUser"
End Sub be359ba680
